Campaign Marketing Manager

The Campaign Marketing Manager, working approximately 75% with the Inside Sales Team, is responsible for leading the execution of demand generation strategies and tactics, and providing marketing content with a focus on Inbound Marketing techniques, ultimately driving qualified leads into the funnel and managing lead nurturing.

In coordination with Product Marketing and Inside Sales leadership, this person is responsible for identifying, prioritizing, activating, and optimizing channels for demand generation including web content, campaign landing pages, paid campaigns, content marketing, and direct target marketing. The oversight of these campaigns is tied to top of funnel leads for inside sales activity and the Campaign Manager will assist in communicating campaign initiatives to the Inside Sales team.

Demand generation campaigns are multi-touch using the noted channels and sources as well as email, events, partner channels where appropriate, webinars, gated, and open content.

The Campaign Manager will coordinate closely with Product Marketing to ensure the right content is in the right place at the right time while aligning to Zaner Bloser approved messaging. The Campaign Manager is expected to manage and optimize lead flow across touchpoints and within audience segments to help drive pipeline for Inside Sales.

The Campaign Marketing Manager will report on the effectiveness of acquisition and engagement programs based on established metrics and KPIs. This person will coordinate with the Digital Marketing team on the optimization of Marketing Automation and Customer Relationship Management systems integration and its role in lead scoring and campaign attribution reporting.

In this role, the Campaign Marketing Manager will project manage the marketing projects for Inside Sales utilizing a systematic, well-documented, but flexible process to facilitate workflow cross-departmentally through a project management tool. This position will run projects and coordinate internal approvals of marketing deliverables, including routing copy, layouts, and proofs, frequently using problem-solving skills and clear communication skills. Critical is the ability to maintain and influence procedures to enhance marketing department processes while maintaining clear and detailed records.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage outbound and inbound marketing calendar in coordination with Inside Sales including, but not limited to, email campaigns, Inside Sales representative landing pages, webinars, and social media content
  • Aggregate and align content appropriate for multi-touch outbound campaigns
  • Lead inbound marketing efforts which position Zaner Bloser Inside Sales team members as trusted partners
  • Provide ongoing, e.g., weekly, updates on campaign and tactical effectiveness to Marketing and Sales leadership to corroborate effectiveness and where appropriate make changes to content and approach
  • Segment marketing content for appropriate use in multi-touch ‘desktop drops’ and social media for use by Inside Sales
  • Be a leader in demonstrating the integration capabilities between Marketing Automation and Customer Relationship management platforms to implement and track campaigns and initiatives


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing with 4+ years experience
  • Experience in the use of marketing automation and customer relationship management platforms
  • Understanding of outbound and inbound marketing techniques and how to leverage multi-channel campaigns for lead development
  • Must have strong professional communication skills both verbal and written
  • has ability to actively manage all aspects of content optimization for the purposes of lead generation
  • able to manage competing priorities and bring solutions and options to the table
