Marketing Project Manager

Project Manager

Reporting to the Vice President, Marketing, the Project Manager is responsible for managing the development of all marketing communication assets and collateral. The Project Manager will create and maintain accurate plans, track all jobs and ensure all resources are allocated appropriately within the project plan and that they are staying on task and on time.

The Project Manager position helps the marketing team in partnering with Operations and Product Development on the development of all marketing collateral. This position is also accountable for helping projects stay within budget and makes appropriate recommendations on how to proceed should scope change or issues arise.

The Project Manager, with input from key stakeholders, develops and maintains marketing processes and documentation to improve efficiency and communication throughout department and with other internal partners. The role helps to gather metrics on performance and documents and communicates this performance in a regular report which will inform future projects and strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all active projects utilizing Workfront, our project management tool.
  • Coordinate all digital and print production projects.
  • Facilitate project kick off, weekly update, and post-mortem meetings.
  • Ensure all resources are assigned and allocated appropriately to the project plan throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Take ownership of vendor relationships and manage all contracts though preparation, exchange, approval verification and record keeping processes.
  • Accountable for staying within budget and making appropriate recommendations on how to proceed should scope change or issues arise.
  • Work with other internal teams to gather metrics on performance and document and communicate this performance in a regular report which will inform future projects and strategy.
  • Partner with Operations and Product Development on the development of all marketing collateral.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or Digital Media preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Three years related experience in digital marketing, preferably in a project management related role.
  • Knowledge of Workfront or similar project management tools.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strategic, analytical thinker who can identify and recommend practical, actionable ideas to improve process.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to follow and give directions.
