Web Producer

Highlights for Children is a growing family media brand that has been nurturing children with excellent, wholesome, and innovative products for 70 years, reaching millions of children throughout the world with its magazines, books, and digital products. The Web Producer will facilitate the content and technical objectives for Highlights for Children Web and Mobile initiatives. This role will lead major and minor projects relating to site content and features that translate to the core functionality across the web and mobile entities.  In addition, the web producer will assist with the ecommerce strategic monthly goals, working with development and creative teams, to help with project and campaign execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for set up and execution of all daily/weekly/monthly website changes including managing data related to product information, promotions and pricing
  • Manages day to day activities within the Ecommerce team and help make a direct impact on business processes
  • Effectively communicates and escalates potential issues with recommended solutions and risk management to leadership
  • Management of site performance tools to aid in site enhancements and page stability
  • Oversee the testing and personalization of content/functionality to the website from development environments to the live websites
  • Assist with managing all site-related issues from internal or external departments
  • Help team prioritize and traffic all new website requests and enhanced functionality
  • Work as project manager for digital campaigns by leading strategy, leveraging resources/tools, establishing plans, and delivering projects on time and within budget
  • Support in communication of daily metrics related to site initiatives such as product reviews and product recommendations
  • Leverage data and business acumen to identify and respond to trends in the business that may impact site initiatives
  • Own the website user experience and help lead conversations and campaigns with the customer journey in mind
  • Facilitates, coaches, and drives productive discussions with cross functional teams throughout the organization to help drive ecommerce goals
  • Remains on track towards meeting project milestones and achieving pre-defined goals
  • Identifies and measures ROI on defined objectives and priorities for Ecommerce production
  • Manages special projects on an as-needed basis

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Three or more years previous experience in digital and/or software product management; retail preferred, but not required
  • Ability to cultivate productive cross-departmental relationships
  • Proven project management skills
  • Highly proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with the following: UX/UI design and development, HTML, project planning systems, content management systems, and Ecommerce platforms
